Ingredients
  Sea bass 1 Pound
  Vegetable paste 2 Tablespoon
  Ginger slice 2 , shredded
  Scallion 1 , chopped
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Soy sauce 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Bean curd 2 , cut in quarters
Directions

Coat the fish with the vegetable paste and place it in an ovenproof serving bowl.
Cover with ginger, scallion, salt, pepper, sugar, monosodium glutamate, soy sauce and oil.
Surround the fish with bean curds.
Place a rack in a large saucepan with 2 inches of water and boil rapidly.
Place the bowl in the saucepan and cover.
Steam the fish over high heat for 12 minutes.
Serve very hot.
