Cut tofu into twenty 3 x 1/2-inch sticks; arrange on paper towels and pat dry.
In shallow bowl combine teriyaki sauce, ginger, and garlic; add tofu sticks and toss to coat well.
Cover and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Remove tofu sticks from marinade, place on paper towels, and pat dry.
On sheet of wax paper or a paper plate combine flour and sesame seed; roll tofu sticks in flour mixture, coating all sides.
In 10-inch nonstick skillet heat oil; add tofu sticks and saute until browned on all sides.
