Pecan Toffee Using Graham Cracker Crumbs
|Firmly packed brown sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Graham cracker crumbs||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Semi sweet chocolate pieces||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Chopped pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Place sugar and butter in a 1 qt.glass casserole dish.
Cover and microwave 5 to 6 minutes.
Stir twice during cooking.
Add graham cracker crumbs and beat until well blended.
Spread mixture in the bottom of an 8 inch square glass cake dish.
Arrange chocolate pieces over top.
Microwave 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds or until chocolate softens.
Spread melted chocolate over top.
Sprinkle nuts over chocolate and press nuts into chocolate.
Cut into squares and refrigerate until firm.
