Ingredients
  Gram dal 750 Gram
  Semolina 750 Gram
  Coconut 1 1⁄2 , grated
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Kilogram
  Butter 300 Gram
  Cashew nuts 250 Gram, finely sliced
  Grated nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Rose essence 1 Teaspoon
  Eggs 8 , separated
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Cream butter and sugar together.
Beat the eggs and mix in the sugar mixture.
Gradually add the semolina.
Mix till smooth.
Boil the dal and grind to a paste.
Also grind coconut to a paste.
Mix together all the ingredients and put in a greased ovenware dish.
Decorate the top with whole cashewnuts and bake in a moderate oven till done.
