1 pkg. (14 oz.) caramels
2 tablespoons hot water
6 medium apples
6 wood sticks
1. Place unwrapped caramels in buttered, deep, medium glass mixing bowl; add water. Cover with wax paper Microwave for 3 minutes on med.high (Roast).
2. Stir; recover caramels and continue cooking for about 2 minutes on med.high (Roast), or until melted.
3. Skewer each apple with wooden stick. Dip in melted caramel mixture, turning to coat evenly. Place dipped apples on buttered cookie sheet or wax paper. (If caramel mixture thickens while dipping apples, return to oven and resoften, covered on med.high (Roast).
