Easy Caramel Apples

Here is my fall classic treat of Caramel Apples. It is on the easy to medium range of skill mostly due to using the hot melted caramel. But the treat is wonderful once it is all done.
Ingredients
  Caramel 2 Pound
  Apples 10
  Diced chocolate 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Candy corn 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Crushed nuts 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

In a double boiler melt the 2lbs of caramel, be very careful because the caramel is really hot and will burn you
Place popcicle sticks or scewers in the end of the apples once you have rinced and dried them off
Once caramel is melted (test by dipping a fork in the mixture and watch the caramel drip right off) dip the apples and evenly coat
After the apple is coated in caramel coat with your favorite topping and then place on a iece of wax paper to cool
Let cool for 30 minutes
