|Pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs) (packed)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chocolate chips||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (semi sweet)|
Grease square 9x9-inch pan.
Spread pecans in pan.
In saucepan, heat sugar and butter to boiling point, stirring constantly.
Boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 7 minutes.
Immediately spread mixture over nuts in pan.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot mixture.
Place baking sheet over pan so contained heat will melt chocolate chips.
With knife, spread the melted chocolate over candy.
While hot, cut into squares.
