Ingredients
  Apples 6 Medium
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Whipped cream 1
Directions

1. Pare and core the apples and cut them into eighths.
2. Melt the butter in a heavy skillet with a tight-fitting cover and add the apples. Cover and cook over low heat ten minutes, or until the apples soften.
3. Sprinkle with salt, sugar and cinnamon and cook, uncovered, fifteen to twenty minutes longer.
