Toast Bake

Toast bake is a dish that first originated in France and is an integral part of the French Cuisine. Numerous toast bake recipes are available and most of them rely on the expertise of the chef to provide excellent toast bake. A majority of toast bake recipes, toasts of bread are used to cover the bottom of a greased pan. Separately, eggs, vanilla, salt and milk are mixed and allowed to stand for 8 to 10 hours in a refrigerator. After this, the mixture is added to the pan which contains the toasts and baked for about 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Toast bake is ready and all that needs to be done is the addition of sugar and butter on top. This seems to be a simple food item to prepare, but the truth is that mastering this dish is not an easy job and can take even the best of chefs a number of years.
