Fry slices of bread in butter till crisp and brown.
Saute mushrooms with onion and herbs.
Divide this mixture between the slices of bread.
Divide the cooked shrimps into 4 portions and lay on the mushroom mixture.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Blend chillico and mayonnaise and fold into the egg whites.
Spread this mixture over shrimps and mushrooms so that the toasts are completely covered.
Bake at 400Â°C.
until mayonnaise has risen and brown.
Garnish with lettuce.
Serve at once.
NOTE : This can be served with a clear soup or a green salad or both.
