Crostini

Crostini are one of my favorite appetizers, or a great side to a soup, salad, roast they go with a lot. Theyre a fun way to use veggies too, and fruit. During the wintery months, I like to put broccoli and Cheddar or Gruyère on them, or apples, jam, and Parmesan. Theyre pretty versatile. Veggies or fruit, olive oil, salt and pepper, cheese, and youre ready oh, and dont forget the bread.

Ingredients

1 Standard Baguette, thinly sliced. Then choose your toppings!
Topping Options:
1. grapes + grape jam + Parmesan
2. tomato + Cheddar + olive oil + salt + pepper + roast beef
3. bell pepper + tomato + Parmesan + S + P + olive oil
4. figs + Gruyère + honey + olive oil + salt + pepper + ham
5. eggplant + honey + Gruyère + olive oil + salt + pepper
6. basil + tomato + Parmesan + olive oil + salt + pepper
7. sorrel + grapes + Parmesan + olive oil + salt + pepper

Directions

To Prepare:

1. Pre-heat oven to 400F.

Making:

1. Thinly slice ingredients.

2. Drizzle savory crostini with olive oil (it could also be good with the sweet ones).

3. Top with desired toppings.

4. Sprinkle savory crostini with salt and pepper.

5. Bake for 10 minutes.

Serving:

Serve immediately!
