1) Make a spice bundle by tying the spices in a muslin bag.
2) In a saucepan, place the spice bundle with the wines and curagao.
3) Gently heat the wine mixture to boiling point and sweeten with sugar to suit your taste.
4) Pass the wine mixture through cheesecloth and remove the spice bundle.
5) Transfer into warm punch bowl.
6) Serve piping hot.
