|Chopped pecan nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cherries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Raspberry jam||1 Teaspoon (per person)|
|Orange juice||1 Teaspoon (per person)|
|Vanilla ice cream scoop||2|
Peel pears, cut in two and remove cores.
Brush with orange juice and use the rest of the juice mixed into the jam to soften it.
Place pear, cut sideways, on serving dish.
Fill cavity with a scoop of icecream.
Sieve jam (mixed with orange juice) and pour a spoonful over the ice cream to coat it.
Pipe a ring of cream, avoiding the ice cream, and scatter chopped nuts over the pears.
Finish with a cherry and serve with plain vanilla wafers.
