|Chopped water chestnuts||2 Tablespoon (Singhara)|
|Spring onion||1 , chopped (Use White Part Only)|
|Egg white||1 , whisked till frothy|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Green chili||1 , minced|
|Bread slices||6 , crusts removed|
Wash mushrooms, wipe dry and chop.
Put mushrooms, water chestnuts and spring onion in a blender and blend to a smooth paste.
Transfer to a bowl and mix in egg white, salt, pepper, oil and green chilli.
Spread mixture evenly over bread slices.
Place bread on a tray under a medium-hot grill till puffed and golden.
Cut into strips and serve immediately.
