Oysters On Toast

Ingredients
  Bread 3 (White Or Brown)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon (For Toast)
  Cooked ham 3 Ounce
  Oysters 12 Small
  Seasoning To Taste
  Oysters 1 Ounce (For Coating Oysters)
  Lemon 1
Directions

Toast slices of white or brown bread, and cut into small rounds— 1 1/2—2 in diameter.
Cover with butter, and small rounds of ham.
Beard the oysters and put on the ham, season well, put a small knob of butter on each and bake in a hot oven (425° F., Gas 7) for about 3 min until the butter has melted.
Garnish with wedges of lemon.
