Curried Turkey On Toast
|Chicken stock||2 Tablespoon|
|Whole wheat flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Curry powder||1 Teaspoon (Preferably Madras)|
|Skim milk||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Peas||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Diced cooked turkey||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Whole grain bread slices||4 , toasted|
Place the stock, flour, and curry in a large skillet and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 2 minutes.
Add the milk and stir until combined.
Add the peas and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer about 2 minutes.
