Authentic Homemade Pad Thai Sauce

Pad Thai sauce is a vegetarian sauce used for cooking Pad Thai recipes. It’s very easy to make and can be refrigerated up to 2 weeks so that you can enjoy Thai dishes easily at home. Just few simple ingredients and a couple of simple steps will lead you to a great Asian sauce that is Pad Thai sauce.
Ingredients
  Tamarind paste 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Palm sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs), softened in warm water
  Distilled white vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Garlic 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Shallot 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Oil 4 Tablespoon
Directions

1. In a wok, heat oil over medium low heat.
2. Add chopped garlic, shallot and sauté for about 10 minutes until the mixture starts to turn brown.
3. Add the softened palm sugar, tamarind paste and vinegar.
4. Season with a pinch of salt.
5. Stir and cook for some time until the sauce is well blended.

Would be better if ingredients were listed - can't understand what she said and not sure if it's exotic or because of the accent / recording quality

I agree with the first poster. due to poor recording quality she is very difficult to understand. a list of ingreadiants would have been helpful without them this is not worth having on the website unless you have very good audio equiptment on your computer.

I could understand all the ingredients. I'll list them here. For quantities & method, watch closely. INGREDIENTS: Vegetable Oil; Garlic - (finely) chopped; Shallots - (finely) chopped; White Distilled Vinegar; Palm Sugar - soaked in hot water; Tamarind Paste. That's it!

She is Thai and her "accent" is typical of Thai people. I have no problem understanding her at all.
