Thai Barbecued Chicken
|Chopped cilantro||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Garlic||1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm), peeled, minced|
|Freshly ground pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Shrimp sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|White vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whole chicken||3 , cut up|
Combine the cilantro, garlic, pepper, sugar, shrimp sauce and white vinegar in a large glass dish and whisk well.
Add the chicken.
Marinate, covered, in the refrigerator for 4 to 10 hours.
Drain the chicken, reserving the marinade.
Grill slowly over hot coals, basting occasionally with the marinade.
