Pad Kapow

We can see the cooking of Pad Kapow on the streets of Bangkok.
  Chili 1 Tablespoon
  Oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Pork 1
  Fish sauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Oyster sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Beans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Basil leaves 1 Tablespoon

In a large wok saute the chilli and garlic, add pork,stir in a little fish sauce, soy sauce, thicken with some oyster sauce. Now sprinkle some sugar and 1/4 cup water, stir well; add beans and a handfull of basil leaves,keep stirring and season well so that it has sweet sour, salty and hot flavours. Serve over hot rice.

This seems like a great appetizer or even a side... I don't eat pork so I think I'll substitute it with prawn ...I can almost savor the taste of it!! :) thanks for the great video

How much do you eat tanya !!! With the rice and an optional egg on top, its a great main meal, one of the thai's favourites. Its certainly no starter or side.
