The Yum Sai Grok Hua Plee recipe is a yummy sausage salad in the traditional banana flower. It is a very healthy and easy to make appetizer. Your friends are going to be truly bowled over by your culinary expertise.
Ingredients
  Smoked sausage 100 Gram (Cocktail)
  Scoop of banana flower 1 , sliced (Hand Full)
  Red onion 1 Tablespoon (Thai)
  Crushed peanut 2 Tablespoon
  Boiled egg 1 , sliced (For Topping Garnish)
  Chili paste 1 Teaspoon (The Type Cooked In Oil 2 Tablespoons)
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Fish sauce 2 Tablespoon
  White sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Green chilli 5 (Lightly Crushed To Full Flavor 5 Chili)
  Coconut cream 2 Tablespoon
Directions

1). Slice bannana flower like Onion ring size and cover with lemon juice to stop discolouring like on would with an apple.
2). Put sausages like hotdos in boiling water and heat. Remove and dry.
3). Mix all ingredents on a boil and then take a outer petal of the flower and use as a basket and fill with salad and garnish with egg. Serve

very nice, try date palm sugar in place of white sugar in Thai recipes I think you will like it. It is more subtle-not so sweet perfect for Thai ingredients.
