How To Grate Mozzarella Cheese With A Food Processor:


1 Wrap the cheese in a plastic bag and place it in the freezer for about 20 minutes. This will harden the cheese and make it easier to grate.


2 To the food processor blades, apply a little olive oil or vegetable oil, this will prevent the cheese from sticking to the blades and making the cleaning of the jar easy.


3 Cut the cheese into cubes and add them to the food processor jar. Do not over fill the jar and process lightly until the cheese is of desired fineness.


Grating Mozzarella Cheese With A Grater:

1 Place the cheese, wrapped in a plastic bag in the freezer for 20 minutes.


2 Over a bowl or a board, hold the cheese grater firmly with one hand. Using the other hand rub the cheese against the medium or small holes of the grater, applying very little pressure. Since the cheese is extremely soft, it might break if the pressure is increased.
