Grilled burgers are the most quintessential items for outdoor menu Grilling burgers is most ideal activity for outdoor cooking. Grilling them is fun, it is easy and the best part – burgers are always great to eat! So here’s a quick snapshot of how to grill burgers.

Fresh Chuck; Salt; Pepper; Hamburger Buns;

To Serve:

Cheese; Tomatoes; Lettuce; Onions; Ketchup; Mayonnaise; English Mustard

For the best grilled burgers, the first step starts with buying the right kind of meat. Chuck is a typical beef cut taken from the subprimal part of the animal. This is the best flavored beef and hence, is most apt for burgers. Also, ensure that the chuck you are buying has at least 20 percent of fat content. This allows the burger patties to cook for a longer time without being dried up. Thus, your cooked patties become more soft and juicy.

Once, you have the right kind of meat, mince them will to form a nice paste. Now, make nice, round patties out of this minced meat (about ½ inch thick). Ensure that they remain tight.
Sprinkle salt and pepper on each side of the patties for that perfect seasoning.
Next, build a hot fire in the grill. Oil the grill bars lightly with an oil brush.
Place the burgers on the grill, over direct heat and let each side cook for about 5 minutes. Ensure that you flip the sides only once. Do not squeeze the patties while flipping, as that would squeeze the juices out of the patties, leaving them dry and fibrous.
Check whether your patties are done or not before taking them off the grill. This can easily be done with a toothpick. Insert a toothpick in the patties and take it out. If it comes out clean and dry (no flesh sticking on to it), then you know that your patties are done and ready to be taken off.
Now, arrange them on fresh buns. You can toast the buns slightly before serving to retain their crispiness for a longer time.

Serve with layers on mayonnaise, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cheese slice, ketchup and English mustard.

Your juicy grilled hamburgers are ready. This easy item is a great option for outdoor food. Easy to cook and convenient to eat, this is a must for all your picnics, outdoor parties, short trips, long drives – the list is never-ending!
