Turmeric tea is a kind of medicinal tea famous for its healing properties. Turmeric is a well-known spice that has medicinal values due to the presence curcumin, which is the most active compound in the spice.

Preparation of tea is quite easy. 1-2 tsp of turmeric can be boiled in 4 cups milk added with water. The drink is generally drunk as a medicine, but it can also be served as a beverage by adding ginger powder, honey and dash of lemon.
