Sesame Tea Loaves
|Sesame seed||1 Can (10 oz), divided|
|Flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), softened|
|Sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Toast sesame seed till lightly golden, about 10 minutes, while preheating oven to 350 degrees.
Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and 2 tbs.sesame seed.
Beat together butter, sugar and eggs until well blended.
Stir in flour mixture alternately with milk.
Mix until blended.
Turn into 2 well-greased 8x4x2" loaf pans; sprinkle with remaining sesame seed.
Bake about 45 minutes, or until pick comes out clean.
