Hot Spiced Tea
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon zest strip||2 , removed with a vegetable peeler (2 Pieces)|
|Lemon zest strips||2 , removed with a vegetable peeler (3 Inch Pieces)|
|Whole star anise||1 , broken into points|
|Loose tea leaves||2 Teaspoon (Oolong / Other Black Variety)|
1 In a small saucepan,add water,lemon zest,anise and cloves.
2 Bring to a boil over medium-low heat.
3 Remove from the heat and stir in the tea and honey. Cover and let stand for 3 minutes.
4 Strain into a warmed cup and serve immediately.
