Ginger Tea

Ingredients
  Ginger root 2 (1/2 Inch Long By 1/4 Inch Wide)
  Boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Dash
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon (Adjust Quantity As Per Taste)
Directions

Crush the roots (place between several folds of waxed paper) with a mallet or hammer and put into an enamelware saucepan or teapot.
Add water, cover tightly and steep 3 minutes.
Strain into cup and serve hot with salt and sugar to taste.
