Marion's Sand Tarts
|Flour||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
|Baking soda||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Sift together the flour and baking soda.
Cream the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs.
Stir in the flour mixture.
Chill, covered, for at least 30 minutes.
Roll very thin on a well floured surface.
Cut into shapes and place on a nonstick cookie sheet.
Brush with egg whites and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until done to taste.
Cool on a wire rack.
