Cherry tarts are simple tarts made with cherry pie filling and soft cream cheese filled in a baked tart shell. The cherry tarts are fruity and are best served chilled. They may be topped with a dollop of whipped cream.
Baked tart shells
Softened cream cheese
Canned cherry pie filling
2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
Make tart shells as directed at left.
Spread softened cream cheese on bottoms of baked tart shells.
Spoon cherry pie filling into shells.
Chill if you like.
Top with dollops of whipped cream cheese.
