Whole Wheat Fruit Tart Filling

Ingredients
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Dried currants 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Figs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), cut fine
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Whole wheat flour 2 Teaspoon
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Unsweetened orange juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Cook fruits and water together over low heat for 20 minutes.
Blend in flour and cook 10 minutes longer.
Remove from heat.
Stir in oil, nuts and orange juice.
When cool, spoon into tarts made from favorite pastry and bake at 450° F. for 15 minutes.
