Cream Cheese And Apple Tart

Ingredients
  Prepared short crust pastry 1
  Eating apples 1 Pound
  Soft light brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Orange marmalade 1 Tablespoon
  Ground allspice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Whipped cream cheese 1⁄4 Pound
  Heavy cream 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Directions

Line an 8-inch tart pan with the pastry, and bake blind at 400°F for 25 minutes.
Cool and put on to a serving dish.
Pare and core the apples.
Chop coarsely .
Put into a pan with the sugar, marmalade and spice, and simmer gently until the apples are soft.
Cool for 10 minutes, then return to the processor bowl and mix until smooth .
Leave until completely cool.
Spread the tart shell with the cream cheese and place the apple puree on top.
Whip the cream to soft peaks and spoon on top of the apples.
Chill for 1 hour before serving
