Butter Tart Pie

Ingredients
  Eggs 3
  Packed brown sugar 175 Milliliter
  Corn syrup 175 Milliliter
  Butter 50 Milliliter
  All purpose flour 20 Milliliter
  Vanilla 7 Milliliter
  Salt 1 Milliliter
  Currants 550 Milliliter
Directions

In bowl, beat eggs lightly.
Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, flour, vanilla and salt until blended.
Stir in currants.
Pour into pie shell.
* Bake in 400°F (200°C) oven for 5 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350CF (180°C).
Bake for about 35 minutes longer or until center is just firm to the touch, covering edges of pastry with foil if browning too much.
Let cool completely before cutting.
