Sometimes the simplest desserts are the best and this country peach and lavender tart is a perfect example. Using only 5 ingredients you can create a mouthwatering dessert using a variety of seasonal fruits.
6 Medium, peeled and sliced (can use apricot or mangoes)
1 Cup (16 tbs)
Pie crust dough
2 Pound (or 1 prepared 9-inch pie crust)
1.Peel and slice the peaches.
2.Preheat the oven at 400 degrees F.
3.Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
4.Pour the mixture in a 9-inch pie crust.
5.Fold the dough over around the mixture and leave the center open.
6.Brush the top with egg wash.
7.Bake in the oven for 50 minutes.
8.Cut into pieces and serve warm with cream, ice-cream or yogurt if you like.
Buy peaches with nice aroma and not the ones which has green on it.
