Apple Cream Tart

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sour cream 8 Tablespoon
  Golden apples 2 Medium
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Yolks 3 , beaten lightly
  Sour cream 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Apple jelly 2 Tablespoon, melted
Directions

MAKING
1) Into the pastry blender, add 1 cup of flour, 1/4 teaspoons salt, and pieces of butter
2) Mix till the mixture is coarse
3) Tip in 7 tablespoons of sour cream, added 1 tablespoon at a time
4) Using a fork, stir to combine with the coarse mixture
5) If the dough is too dry, add in 1 more tablespoon of sour cream
6) Using than hands, bring the mixture together and shape into a ball
7) Cling wrap the ball and place in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes
8) Onto a floured surface, roll out the dough to 1/8 inch thickness
9) Into a 9 inch round pie tin, place the pastry to fit in and then trim the edges
10) Using a knife, peel and core the apple
11) Slice the apple into 16 wedges
12) Layer the slices onto the base of the pie dish
13) Mix together the sugar, 1/4 cup flour, , pinch of salt, egg yolks, and 1/3 cup sour cream
14) Pour the batter over the apples and bake in a preheated oven for 60 minutes at 350 F
15) Allow to cool and using a pastry brush, coat the top with apple jelly

SERVING
16) Cut the tart into 6 wedges and serve with some cream of good vanilla ice cream
