Pineapple Streusel Tarts

Ingredients
  Canned pineapple tidbits 27 Ounce, drained, reserve syrup (2 Cans, 13 1/2 Ounce Each)
  Packed brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Unbaked 3 inch tart shells 3
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven hot to 425°F.

MAKING
2) In a saucepan add reserved pineapple syrup and water to measure 1 1/3 cups liquid.
3) Add brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
4) Cook and stir until thickened.
5) Mix butter and pineapple.
6) Let stand will cool.
7) Fill into tart shells.
8) Sprinkle Streusel Topping around edge of tarts.
9) Bake below oven center for 20 minutes until pastry is crisp.

SERVING
10) Serve tarts with a topping of your choice.
