Little Honey Tarts

These scrumptious honey tarts are the most popular desserts, fun to make and satisfying to any palate. Sink in your sweet tooth and just go yummy!
Ingredients
  Shortcrust pastry 6 Ounce
  Mixed peel 1 Ounce
  Chopped walnuts 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter 1 Ounce
  Sultanas 1 Ounce
  Honey 3 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 2 Ounce
  Chopped glace cherries 1 Ounce
  Coffee icing 1 Tablespoon
  Walnut halves 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Roll out pastry and cut into 12 rounds with a fluted cutter.
Use pastry rounds to line deep patty tins.
Chop nuts and peel, mix with sul- tanas and cherries.
Cream butter and sugar, beat in honey, stir in fruit.
Place a spoonful of this mixture in each tartlet.
Bake in a moder- ately hot oven for 12 — 15 minutes.
Allow to cool in tins.
Remove cooled tartlets from tins and pour a little coffee icing over each.
Decorate with walnut halves.
