Custard Tarts

Ingredients
For tart
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Sodium bicarbonate 1 Pinch
  Milk 3 Tablespoon
  Whole strawberries 10
For filling
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Strawberry custard powder 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped strawberries 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Sieve flour, soda bicarb and salt together in a • large mixing bowl.
Mix butter and flour with fingers for about 10 minutes till it resembles bread crumbs.
Knead the flour to a stiff dough with milk.
Roll out the dough into 1/2 cm thick pastry.
Cut into 5 cm diameter rounds.
Line the tart tins with pastry rounds and prick the base with fork.
Bake in oven at 180°C for 8-10 minutes.
Cool slightly and remove from the tin.
To prepare filling, make paste of custard powder with a little cold milk.
Heat milk.
Put the paste and sugar to milk.
Cook stirring on medium heat till thick.
Cool completely and add chopped strawberries to it.
Fill custard into the tarts.
Decorate with halved strawberries and serve.
