|Rich short crust pastry||1 (Using 4 Oz. Flour, Etc.)|
|Ground almonds||2 Ounce|
Line a 7-in flan ring or pie-plate with the pastry.
Cream the butter and sugar till thick and white.
Add the egg, beating well, and then mix in the ground almonds and flour.
Place the mixture in the pastry case and bake in a moderate oven (350° F., Gas 4) for 25-50 min
When cool, dredge with icing sugar.
