Wild Strawberry Tarts

Ingredients
  Wild strawberries 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Confectioners sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Granulated sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Red food coloring 3 Drop
  Baked tart shells 8
  Whipped cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Mix 3 cups berries with confectioner's sugar and let stand 1 hour.
Cook 1 cup berries in 1 cup water 10 minutes.
Cool; puree in blender.
Mix granulated sugar and cornstarch, add to pureed berries and simmer until clear.
Add food coloring.
Divide whole berries evenly among tarts.
Pour over hot glaze.
Cool.
Garnish with whipped cream.
