Heart's Delight Tarts
|Piecrust mix||11 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|White corn syrup||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Vanilla ice cream||1 Pint|
Start heating oven to 475°F.
From foil, cut out 16 heart shapes, 1 1/2" long by 41/2" wide at widest point.
Prepare piecrust mix as label directs; on lightly floured surface, roll it out 1/8" thick.
Using foil heart as pattern, cut out 8 hearts.
Place pastry heart between 2 foil hearts; turn up edges 1/2 " all around, pinching together as necessary to form heart-shaped shell.
Set on baking sheet.
Bake 6 to 8 min., or until golden; cool a few minutes; peel off foil.
