Sweet Tart Kraut

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Sauerkraut 2 Cup (32 tbs), drained and snipped
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper grains 3
  Pimientos 4 Ounce, drained and dried (1 Jar/ 1 Can)
Directions

Heat the butter in a large skillet.
Mix in the onion and garlic and cook until tender, stirring occasionally.
Add sauerkraut, a blend of sugar, salt, and pepper, and the pimiento; toss until well mixed.
Heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally.
