Amy's Tacos

Ingredients
  Ground mild red chili 1 Tablespoon
  Mexican oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Comino 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Salt To Taste
  Ground beef 1⁄2 Pound
  Tomato 1 Medium, chopped
  Chopped onion 2 Tablespoon
  Shredded monterey jack cheese/Cheddar cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Taco shells 4
  Salsa 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

1 Mix the chile, oregano, comino, garlic and 1/2 teaspoon salt together. Add the seasoning mix to the ground beef. Cook in a skillet until done. Taste and add more seasoning, perhaps more salt also. Drain off excess fat.
2 Prepare the rest of the filling ingredients. Add to taco shells in order listed, sprinkling with salt as you layer in the ingredients.
3 Place 2 tacos on each heatproof plate and heat in a 400°F. oven until cheese bubbles, about 5 minutes.
