Fruit Syrup

Fruit syrup is a concentrated juice which is obtained from crushing less expensive fruits like pineapple, apple or pear. It is basically an ingredient which helps in sweetening more expensive food products. Fruit syrup is available in beautiful bottles in the market but the one that is made at home is easy, inexpensive and nutritious. Fruit syrups are richly colored and they may also be given away as gifts. The ingredients required for making fruit syrups include water, fruit and sugar. If the syrup is passed through a strainer, the syrup will be thin in consistency. And if it is cooked in a food processor, it will be thick in consistency.
