Caramel Syrup

Caramel syrup is caramel flavored liquid that can be used for several purposes. It is very sweet in taste and it can be used to add flavor to cocktails as well. The ingredients required for making caramel syrup include white sugar, maltose, corn syrup and sugar. There are two types of caramel syrup – dark caramel syrup and light caramel syrup. Light caramel syrup is sweeter in taste and amber in color. While making caramel syrup, sugar lumps are often made. In order to avoid this sugar should not be stirred when it is cooking. Caramel syrup can be stored in glass bottles.
