Basic Sugar Syrup

Ingredients
  Water 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Sugar 8 1⁄2 Cup (136 tbs)
Directions

Place water and sugar in large pot over low heat; heat until sugar is dissolved.
Raise to slow, rolling boil; reduce temperature.
Simmer 3 minutes; chill.
Bottle; store.
