Flavored Simple Syrup

In this cooking video, Clint will show you some of his favorite simple syrups that he uses to make some amazing cocktails. Stay tuned to find out what those cocktails are!
Ingredients
  Cinnamon sticks 3 Medium
  Sage 1⁄2 Bunch (50 gm)
  Orange zest 1 Large
  Thyme sprigs 2 Medium
  Habanero pepper 1 Medium, slice
  Ginger 1⁄4 Medium, slice
  Simple syrup 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Poblano pepper 1⁄4 Medium, slice
Directions

MAKING
1. For cinnamon and sage flavored simple syrup: In a bottle, add 2 cups of simple syrup.
2. Add 2 cinnamon sticks and sage and put lid on. Let this mix be for several days.
3. For Orange and thyme flavored simple syrup: In a jar, add a cup of simple syrup.
4. Add orange zest and thyme and put the lid on. Let this mix be for a few days.
5. For poblano pepper simple syrup: In a jar, add a cup of simple syrup.
6. Add sliced poblano peppers into the jar and put the lid on. Let this mix be for a few days.
7. For ginger and cinnamon simple syrup: In a jar, add a cup of simple syrup.
8. Add sliced ginger and 1 cinnamon sticks and put lid on.
9. For the habanero peppers simple syrup- Slice the habenero pepper and remove the seeds out.
10. In a jar, add a cup of simple syrup and the sliced habenero peppers and put the lid on. Let this sit for a few hours or a day.

SERVING
11. Use these flavored simple syrups to give your cocktails added zing and extra flavor and serve.

TIPS
Taste the various simple syrups every couple of hours and days to get the taste best suited for you.
