Blueberry Syrup

Ingredients
  Fresh or frozen and thawed blueberries 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) In a food processor bowl fitted with a knife blade, add the blueberries, sugar, cornstarch and water, then process for about 1 minute, until mixed.
2) In a 1 1/2-quart saucepan, pour the blueberry mixture and simmer for about 2 minutes, until syrupy.
3) Then stir in the lemon juice, allow to cool and place in the
refrigerator.

SERVING
4) Use as required.
