|Fresh lemon juice||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Sugar||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
Place sugar and strained lemon juice in a pan over a low heat and stir until sugar has dis- solved.
Heat and remove just before boiling point is reached (it is important that it should not boil).
Cool and bottle.
Store in the 'fridge.
To use: Fill glass one-quarter full with the syrup, then add iced water and a little chipped ice.
This is a most refreshing drink.
