Caramel Syrup

Ingredients
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Boiling water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Put sugar in large heavy skillet and set over moderate heat.
Cook, stirring often, until syrupy and golden.
Remove from heat and add boiling water (be careful of the steam).
Return to moderate heat and cook and stir until sugar melts again, then continue
