Prune Plums In Syrup
|Italian prune plums||12 Medium (fresh prunes)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
1. With 4-tined fork, prick skin of each plum in several places.
2. In 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, heat plums, water, and sugar to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Cover and refrigerate until well chilled.
