Fried Sweetbreads

Ingredients
  Sweetbreads 1 Pound
  Fat 2 Cup (32 tbs) (for deep frying)
  Bread crumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
Directions

Cook sweetbreads in boiling salted water for 20 min- utes.
Cut into bite-sized pieces.
Roll in crumbs combined with salt, pepper and ginger.
Dip in egg; coat with crumbs.
Fry in deep hot fat until brown on all sides.
